Reaction to the Interview

Assignment 1 :

I thought that the interview was going to be Morrie speaking very openly about his life. In the book of Tuesday with Morrie he seems very outspoken and caring person. I thought that the interview was going to have good points about what Morrie was doing before he passes away. In the interview Morrie was a lot like I thought he was going to be.

When Morrie began to speak in the interview about the things that you should always remember when you are dying. Talk about, except it, keep a open heart, be alert, be compassion, and treat yourself gently. They all had very good points. He just keep saying that it isn't your fault that your life is going the way it is. So just make it the best and have the most support that you can possible. I think that all of the things that Morrie said is very true. The interview went very well and that Morrie made some great points.

  1. I like how you share your predictions about the viewing of the interview in the first paragraph, a nice touch. The point about, that having the disease is not anyone's fault, is a good one to focus on in your disection of the interview and the book. Most people in this situation rage against the circumstances and lash out by blaming everyone and everything. But you are realizing that that will help nothing and help no one, which is a great life lesson to acquire. I hope you remember it.
